With a body check, there is a special opportunity to clarify before a massage which individual problem areas should receive special attention in the subsequent treatment. In this way there is a deeper, more intense experience and also higher effect in the massage.

The body's reaction is tested by applying gentle pressure to certain Ayurvedic acupuncture points. Tensions can be noticed, but also a higher or lower sensitivity to pain than usual. Balendu then gives a recommendation as to which applications would be helpful or concentrates on the same zones and points during the massage that were conspicuous.
